The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) Assessment Inventory is one of the world’s most popular personality assessment tools.
In the field of personality typology, the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator Assessment (MBTI Assessment) is an introspective self-report questionnaire indicating differing psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions. It consists of the dichotomic pairing of types by personality dimensions.
I've added an infographic (below) that provides a quick charting of those pairings per dimension.
MBTI Theory is based on the influential fundamental theory of psychological types proposed by Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung in 1921, who speculated that people experience the world using several principal psychological functions that can be taxonomized into types and/or archetypes.
The Predictive Index provides well-researched, valid, and reliable employee assessments, which are developed following recognized psychological standards and guidelines, including the American Psychological Association (APA), the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), and the International Test Commission (ITC). These guidelines provide a framework for test construction and the proper use of assessments.
